Women Who Change the World

An initiative to harness the collective power of community

What is Women Who Change the World?

We started an initiative to harness the collective power of our community. There are so many inspiring female leaders among us, and we are channeling our passion, our talents, and our influence to make real change.

From local groups to national and virtual meetups, this group is one part professional development, one part personal development because women who support women are always more successful.

How our mission manifests:

  • Community. We have created and continuously nurture a safe space for women to bring concerns, ideas, and thought starters.

  • Knowledge. We share resources and learnings to educate and inspire one another.

  • Empowerment. We encourage, challenge, and hold each other accountable for the goals we set.

  • Connection. We bring diverse perspectives into the group, knowing that we have a common goal. We openly and honestly share our challenges and offer support, advice, or empathy to the best of our ability.

In practical terms, Women Who Change the World consists of a community group on LinkedIn where we share resources and knowledge, ask questions, and offer support. In addition, we host monthly virtual meetings and annual or bi-annual in person meetings. These events may include curated speakers on a range of topics, workshop style sessions to solve real member challenges, and sharing stories or practicing new skills in a safe environment.
